Butterfly Study I

This Butterfly study is one in a series of three. It is rich with greens, browns, yellow and a touch of orange, highlighting the striking patterns of each butterfly. They appear layered, almost as if they’ve just emerged from their cocoons, experiencing the exhilaration of their inaugural flight.
