So weve taken our 100% raw, unfiltered California Honey a small batch from Richards own hives at the Estate and infused it with precious Damask Rose: a pure Oil concentrate extracted through steam distillation. The result is a delicately floral, bright golden nectar that goes perfectly over fresh fruit, yogurt, or any dessert. Its got a remarkable flavor, almost reminiscent of bubblegum (in a good way!) We have never made a Honey like it before.
Damask Rose is one of the most expensive oils in the world because it takes an incredibly high number of petals, handpicked early in the morning and distilled immediately after harvesting, to produce the Oil. The taste is full of layers: bright, soft, a touch green, musky, and eternally sweet. Its truly one of the best Honeys weve ever made. Drizzle up.
